Bautizando!
Buenas, Familia!
1)
Yes, I received my package! And the pillowcase! Thank you very much Mom and Dad! I was afraid that I would have to go to San Jose to get it, but we got it yesterday at stake conference! Love you guys!
2) No I have never heard a piano playing while tracting. I don´t even know how a person could steal the piano, because all the churches here are like prisons and it´s super hard to get in!
3) On p-days sometimes we go travel to different parts of our zone. We´re in Limon, which is all of the east side of the country. Actually our zone went to Puerto Viejo today, it´s this super beautiful beach that’s right next to panama. And if we don´t travel anywhere, we usually just rest, because everyday day we are walking and walking and walking so we need to rest haha
Well, this week was good! So we will be having 4 baptisms this week!
Whoooooh!!! Diego and Tatiana are getting baptized. They´re a super young
family but are super awesome. Diego is 20 and Tatiana turned 20 the same day as
I! Isn´t that nuts! But they already have 3 kids. It´s super rad to see how
much their relationship has changed through the gospel of Jesus Christ. When we
first found them they were always fighting and there was no trust. But through
their marriage (which we planned and was super stressful) and the gospel, their
home is totally different, I love it! And we are also baptizing 2 niños haha.
Rigoberto is 12 and his sister Reina is 8. Rigo is a super awesome kid, and he
will be a rad missionary in 6 years. I´m just super stoked for this weekend.
Elder Cruz and I have been doing a lot of contacting and knocking doors because
really we will be baptizing all of our investigators after this weekend. I love
contacting because it´s really easy to get in the door here and you can really
meet the most interesting and different people. But i don´t like contacting
because a lot of people here will lie to you, or because they are so nice they
will let you teach them, but they really want nothing to do with our message.
But I love it anyway!
Well I had a fun experience this week! Elder Cruz and I were walking in
the "Centro" its like where all the stores in Guacimo are, and I was
crossing the street, and on my Right side a huge bus was coming, but a parked
car was blocking my view on the left side so I decided to cross the street
really quick. But on my left side two people on a motorcycle came out of
nowhere and almost ran into me! I got hit in the face by their helmets haha, it
was ridiculous. It was my fault but thank goodness I didn´t get hurt at all, it
only felt like getting punched in the face haha. But I´m all good, and I can
officially say that I got hit by a motorcycle in Costa Rica!
Well, this week was very good and I love the people here in Guacimo. Sometimes
it´s hard to love them, but I really feel like I do. I love this gospel. It has
brought so much happiness and especially peace to my life. I love the
atonement. I love how it can change our hearts and our desires. I love that we
are supported in every righteous thing by our Father in Heaven. I love his Plan
of Salvation for each and every one of us, and I know he have purpose in this
life. I love the Book of Mormon. I love the revelation we receive in it. I love
the prophets who guide and have guided our church. I love my Father in Heaven.
I love my Savior, Jesus Christ. I love all of you! Have beautiful week!
Tuanis,
Elder Taylor
